So I’ve bought myself a Porsche

Back when Cinders production started to become really troubled, I used to joke that we might have hit some hurdles, but just you wait, in two years I’m gonna get myself a Porsche!

 

I even created a blog post titled “So I’ve bought myself a Porsche” and pre-scheduled it for release in two years. So that — you know — no possible force on Earth could stop me from delivering on my promise.

 

It just so happens that these two years later happens today. And lo and behold:

 

My proud 911!

 

Not exactly the model I had in mind, it’s a bit cramped even for a sports car, but it’s still a Porsche. It even has a pull-back drive! Very cool, not to mention: economical.

 

So here it is. Standing next to my computer. Reminding me that sometimes things do have a happy ending and it’s fun to dream big.

 

Who knows, maybe in two more years I’ll be able to afford an RC one!

    One day… one day in the very far future. Me in my Aston Martin and you in your Porsche. As old men we will look back to these days and laugh in our incredible wealth.

    Then perhaps we shall wake up and realise it was all dream!

    At least you’re striving to make your dreams a reality (however ‘little’ it may be).
