Cinders December Sale – 50% off!

December has come. With it, most of the world got into the grasp of two things: frost… and sweet, sweet consumerism.

December has come!

Criticize it all you want, but the truth is that deep inside we all love this excuse to indulge a little. Especially if it’s related to bringing a smile to someone else’s face.

With that in mind, we’ve decided to run a sale for the whole December. Up until the New Year, you can get Cinders for half the price!

The promotion is now over. Thanks, everyone!

You can also opt to buy it as a gift. If you think that a warm visual novel is what someone may need during cold winter evenings, just tick that gift checkbox when making the purchase.

And speaking of giving — we re-introduced the Investment Bundle for those of you who would like to support our studio during its growing pains.

Support us!

Support us and get all our current and future games!

For $60, you get all our games as well as all our future PC/Mac releases for free (Bonfire and the next VN being the nearest). You may also get yourself a set of flying sled, as you would be our own personal Santa Claus.

Have a nice gamey winter, people!

ALL your future games? Sounds like a great deal, in a long term perspective. Now, where’s my flying sled? ;)

Yup. We did a similar thing before with a Magi sale and it worked out pretty well. From our perspective, it’s a great way to raise some money when we need it the most – at the early days of our studio, when we still have too few games to be able to get by comfortably.

And if thanks to that money we manage to pull through and launch more titles, supporters are getting lots of cool games for free. It’s a win-win situation really.

Also: *actual flying sled not included.

    Also, also: THANKS! ;)

IMHO Cinders and games like it would be perfect for the iPad. Any chance you might be working on porting Cinders?

    Happy Holidays!

Yeah, we think there’s a large chance of our games coming to iPad eventually. Probably somewhere after our next VN is done.

Man, please switch to a less awful service to handle selling your games.

Hate that you’re required to give billing info to BMT Micro in order to pay via paypal/amazon/google. And then you have to wait however long for them to “review” the purchase before you get a download link…

Wanted to play the game tonight, but seems like I may be waiting a while for their confirmation that I’m a person with money trying to buy things. Which might not come cause I didn’t actually fill in my address…

You don’t have to fill your billing info when making a purchase with Paypal or Google. You do have to do that with Amazon sadly, as Amazon refuses to give that data back to BMT.

I disabled the review process a while ago, so purchases are instant in most cases. If you didn’t fill in the address, that’s probably why yours went into the pending queue. I can see it, so I’ll just push the download email your way :) .

So, if I got the investment bundle, would it be possible to get the games I’ve already bought as a gift? Usually the answer for these sorts of things is no, but I figured I might as well ask *shrugs*

    Sure, why not :) .

Technically, it’s not supported, as your purchases are tied to you. But send me an email with your purchase data and email addresses of those you would like to get the gifts, and I’ll see what I can do.
